Weighing in at 2.5 kg, the RGXA2 is in the super lightweight class.Yamaha's revolutionary A.I.R. technology delivers a guitar so light that it fuses seamlessly with the player, delivering unprecedented comfort, amazing tone,and superior performance. The Yamaha RGX A2 was introduced by Yamaha in 2007. It is a unique and innovative design that incorporates advanced construction methods and materials to create a high-performance guitar that is both versatile and durable.

The RGX A2 features a lightweight (just 2.5kg), ergonomic design that is comfortable to hold and play. It has a body made from a combination of light, resonant materials, including a lightweight composite that Yamaha calls "A.I.R." (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement).

The guitar also features a bolt-on maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets, and a 25.5" scale length. However, what has to be hands down our favourite feature on the RGX A2 is the LED pickup indicator LEDs, which are brilliantly handy, and look AWESOME on a dark stage!

In terms of electronics, the RGX A2 is equipped with a pair of high-output Yamaha Alnico Soapbar humbuckers that deliver a powerful, versatile sound that is ideal for a wide range of playing styles. The guitar also has a 5-way pickup selector switch, master volume, and tone controls.
