What data we collect

Email sign ups

When you sign up to get company newsletters posted to your inbox, we will ask for your full name and email address. We will only send you this to you because you have opted in.

While we would be sad to see you go, we understand that relationships go that way sometimes, so no hard feelings.

You can stop receiving emails any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in the email footer or by emailing sales@austinguitars.co.uk and asking to be removed from our database.

Contact us

If you write to us using our contact form, then we will keep your information on file for two main reasons:

  • So we can write back to you – Since you’ve asked us a question, it’d be very rude of us not to reply.
  • So we can see what types of questions people are asking us. If enough people write about the same query, we can add it to our frequently asked questions.

If you would like your data to be removed after we’ve written back to you, no problem at all, please send us one more email asking to be taken off our database.

Payment

When you buy one of our guitars, we ask for some details so we know who to charge and how to charge. We ask for a few other details besides your payment details, and these are your name, billing address, company name, phone number, email address and shipping address. We need this contact details so we can send you a confirmation email and call you if there are any problems with your order. We would also like to stay in touch with you and tell you about offers and products that we think you will like, but if we are wrong, you can unsubscribe from our emails or email us at sales@austinguitars.co.uk asking to be removed.
