Originally conceived as an affordable guitar for learners, this stripped-back rock guitar design was later seized on by rockers who loved its classic, raucous tones, simple layout and full-on sound. Billie Joe Armstrong, Johnnie Thunder and a certain Mr K Richards have all been associated with the model that inspired the Harley Benton DC Junior TV Yellow guitar.
