Rickenbacker 350V63 Liverpool Model Electric Guitar in Fireglo

Usually, when you think of a Rickenbacker guitar, there's one band of musicians that instantly spring to mind: Liverpool's very own Fab Four themselves, The Beatles. The guitar most usually associated with John Lennon in particular was a 1964 Rickenbacker 325, and as a tribute to both that guitar and the man who played it, Rickenbacker have released this limited edition 350V63 Liverpool Model, as seen here in a Fireglo finish.

The vintage stylization on the 350V63 updates the traditional design of the 325 to full scale size and performance. Featuring Vintage Single Coil Toaster Topâ„¢ pickups, solid black knobs, Deluxe Vintage tuners, and trapeze tailpiece, ensures this guitar harks back to another era, whilst at the same time offering the feel and sound which modern day guitarists demand.

Toaster Top Pickups

"Toaster Top" was the name given to the unique Single Coil pickups that helped create the famous Rickenbacker "Jangle" sound. Constructed using six individual Alnico magnets set vertically within the coil, these vintage-style pickups offer a sound that's noticeably brighter, clearer and slightly deeper than their more-modern High-Gain counterparts, allowing the guitar to generate that classic tone that Rickenbackers became famous for in the 1960s.
