A 2000 Fender Custom Shop 51 Nocaster NOS in excellent condition, with some scratches, unsurpisingly on the scratchplate, but otherwise very clean. Comes with Fender Authentification Certificate and original shaped Fender Tweed case, which looks its age.

The Ash body is finished in a vibrant Nocaster Blonde NOS nitro lacquer, period correct, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other finishes. The NOS finish gives the appearance of a New Old Stock guitar, one that has been perfectly preserved since 1951 and doesn't feature any kind of ageing or relic work.

With the Telecaster design considered by many to be the original workhorse guitar, the Custom Shop '51 Nocaster needs a pickup pairing that can deliver the classic Tele' twang. Loaded with a pair of 51 Nocaster pickups you certainly get that famous Tele' tone.
