Hofner 4570 E3 ? Electric Guitar - Vintage

We are selling this guitar on behalf of a client, and it is a bit of a mystery. We feel is a great project for a collector/enthusiast. It is a beautiful looking guitar but It may or may not actually be an Hofner, it very much has the appearance of a Hofner 4570 E3.

It is old, possibly late 50s early 60s bit It does have a number of issues, the pots are scratchy the middle pickup is a bit quieter than the others, but it plays well despite what appears to be a surface split in the rear of the neck. It has had a tremolo fitted at some stage in its life but is missing the arm.
